Automated Weather Stations-ASTI DOST

Introductions:

Let us proclaim the good news .
Another dream come true in the country's Science & Technology. The breakthrough is all about our high-end local technological innovations. With almost two years of spending a massive R&D inside the laboratory worked by a young team of engineers and technocrat .Once again another system was introduced with the purpose to aid our scientist in predicting weather or local meteorological prognosis.

The innovation begun in ASTI (Advance Science & Technological Institute) which had been considered as the country's R&D tank when it comes to the actual application of science and technology .The said R&D agencies had a departmental collaborations of designing and developing the AWS ;mainly : the Embedded team , The Communications Development team and the rest of the technical staff of ASTI-DOST and the project proponent -PAGASA DOST.

The AWS is a system design which included major fields of :Micro-controller Embedded system, Communication system (GSM,GPRS and Satellite Link) plus the requirement of the web information system.
