Numerong walang payak na bilang (e at pi )

Ang numerong 'e' ay isang numero sa matematika  na may dami na  di karaniwang dami  dahil sa ang natural na logarithmo nito ay may bilang na isa. Ito ay may bilang na halos 2.71828 , o dalawa na may di payak na kabahagian o kwake. Ang sukdulan ng kalkulasyun  (1 + 1/n)  ay  n  o nangangahulugang mahabang pagbibilang patungo sa walang hangan pag hahati. 


 Sa isang literal na halimbawa ,makikita sa baba ang  resulta ng bilang  kung papaano hatiin ang isa bilang ng simula sa isa hangang sa dulo ng walang katapusang pag hahati

Ang isang halimbawa nito ay ang tubo na nakukua sa interest ng mga interest -isang usapin sa puhunan at dami ng kita sa pag papautang ng banko.


Ang isa pang kahalagahan nito sa buhay ng mga syentista sa computer ay magbigay ng ambag sa

Differential Calculus usapin sa Palayan




Isa sa mga nakakatuwang napag uusapan minsan sa baryo ay ang Differential Calculus, pero malinaw naman na ang mathemathical term na ito ay  lingid sa talatinigan ng kanilang bokabularyo.

Nakaugalian na ng mga magsasaka sa ating baranggay ang mapag usapan ang lagay ng kanilang mga pananim sa palayan kasama na dito ang pagpunla ng binhi,pagpalago ng tubo ng palay o  mga takda sa pagpa patubig o permiso sa pagpapabukas ng  irigasyun ,pagapas ng damo at kailangang abuno,minsan kung may masamang panahong darating na  bagyo na may dalang pagbaha nag kakaroon sila ng seryusong pag ta-tanya ng mga gagawin.

Likas na sa ating mga abang mag sasaka ang magkaroon ng malalim na analisasyun sa mga hakbangangin pag lalaanan nya ng panahon .Ang nakakatuwa sa di natin inaasahang senaryo
ay maitutulad natin ang kanilang mga metodolohiya o teknik gamit ang kalkulasyun sa Differential Calculus. At bakit?

Bago pa man  mag tanim ng palay ang mga mag sasaka ay nag lalaan na sila ng binhi na papalaguin sa kwadro sa loob ng palayan.Ito ang kanyang naturang kwentada at kalkulasyun

Una, kailangan nyang  punuin ang dalawang tig-iisang metro kwadrado na luwang para sa binhian ng palay, at kailangan sakto ito dahil masasayang ang palay na gagamitin. Bilang nya din kung ilang bahagi ang laman ng  sako ng palay na sasaktong  patubo sa dalawang parang o  depende sa dami.

Pangalawa, tantyado at exacto ang kalkulasyun nila ng panahon para sa pagusbong ng binhi ay hindi ito lampasan ng tubig sa panahon ng pagtubig.

Ipalagay natin na ang sitwasyun ng kalkulasyun nito ay tumpak sa kagagamitan ng Differential equation . At bakit nga ba naging diperensya? Simple lang ang sagot ang pinaka sukat man o bilang ang pinag uusapan dahil sa ito ay humahantong sa dalawang resulta ng sukat o bilang.

Ipagpatulad natin ito sa pag alam ng pinakamalaking lawak ng lugar na pwedeng pag tamnan ng binhi at ang kakailanganing bakud para dito.

Halimbawang may nakalaan lang ang nasabingmag sasaka ng tatlong daang piye (300 ft) kalawak na bakod.Ang tanong anong sukat ang pinaka malaki para sa lawak ng pagtataniman ng binhi?

Ipagpalagay na natin ang pag tutulad na ang pinaka malaking lawak ay may kalkulasyun o sukat sa nasabing dalawang sukat ang pahaba("y" ) at ang pahalang ('x')

I) Sa natural na lawak ang sukat ay  Lawak (A)= 2L * 2W , sa ibang definisyun ang nasabing lapad at haba na kayang buohin ang lawak ng lugar



II) Palawigin pa natin ang inpormasyun hingil dito , ang naturang pag babakud ay may pitong baha-bahagi.Ito ay,

300 = x + x + x +x + y +y +y
300 = 4x + 3y

III) Sa naturang pag tutulad ay mababalangkas natin na ang isang pahaba (y) ay may may kalkulasyun  na tual ng..


IV) Alamin natin ang sakop ng pag tutulad , sa pag susukat na ito, hindi pwedeng maging kulang o negatibo ang  pahalang ('x') na parte ng bakod.  Sa anumang sagot na pwedeng makuha sa pahalang ('x')  ay 300 hahatiin sa apat (4) o kaya hahatiin sa pitumput lima  (75). Opo naman wala kasi ito sa realidad  (ano ba kayo walng invisible na bakud kulang pa kaya sa wala (0)?). Sa makatuwid ang sakop lang ng kalkulasyun  para malamang ang pahalang ('x') na bakod- poko mas o minus, hihigit o kululang  0 ≤ x ≤ 75. Yan ang posibleng diperensya...

V)  Hanapin natin ang maaring maging sukat ayun sa nakalaan lang na bakud ayun sa lawak ng lugar na pag bibinhian, A(x)  di pwedeng lalampas o kulkulang sa pagitan ng  (0, 75). Kaya ipag palagay na nating  makipot o walang pag susukat sa 'x'  pahalang (ipagpapalagay lang) wala  (0-zero). Tingnan natin ang kalkulasyun


sa kadahilanang ang  A′ ay may pag tutudlas sa lahat ng sukat na pwede sa pahalang , 3.75 ay ang sagot  na sukat

VI) Suriin po natin ang pag tutulad sa pahalang na sukat , 37.5 at ang hanganan ng puwang ng , 0 and 75.


VII) Palagi nating tatandaan na sa pag susuri ng pagtutulad  ang hanganan ng puwang o limitasyun ang mga pangunahing alituntunin lamang sa pag hanap ng tiyak na sagot nito. Ang Minima o Maxima , o humigit ba o kumulang sa naturang sakop lamang ng tinitiyak na sagot nito maging bilang  ng dami o sukat ng laki.

Sa ating tinalakay ang kalakhan ng lawak ay     is 3750, and thus, an x-value of 37.5 feet maximizes the corral’s area. The length is 2x, or 75 feet. The width is y, which equals ...dahil sa ang pinka mahabang  pahalang ay 37.5 piye(ft) sa nakatalagang 300 piye (ft)  na pangbakud lamang . Konkulsyon:
Sa realidad ng sitwasyun na ito  gamit ang Differential Calculus malamang di literal na teknolohiya ito ng mga magsasaka,subalit ang nasabing pamamaraan ng ganitong kaalaman ay nag bigay sa kanya ng tamang sukat at walang aksya sa mga nakatalagang gagawing pangbakud. Sa ating nasaksihan
di lang natugunan ang pinaka malaking lawak ng espasyo para sa bakud, bagkus nalagyan pa nating bakud ang gitna. Sa kadahilanang kung walang bakud sa gitna ay magkakaroon lamang ng lawak o kabuohan laki  na  3600 square feet at 3673 square feet . Kaya sa naturang pag susukat mahalagang malaman ang sukat na sakto at walang sayang na gamit o kaya bakud na sa ibang pagkakataon ay humantong sa pag kalugi o pagka aksaya ng pera o puhanan sa pag tatamin sa palayan o bukirin.

Ang Differential Equation sa Usapang Kanto




Mga pangunahing pag tatalakay patungkol sa Differential Equation:
Mapapansin natin  na madaming antas ang  pag susukat o pagbibilang ng mga anumang bagay bagay. Maaring ito ay sa abot lang ng ating mga daliri, maari ding mas malalim pa at gagamitan ng  kaalamang  may kumbinasyun ng dalawa o mahigit pang sistematikong  pag susukat o pagssuri ng bilang. Bagaman sa traditional na kasanayan,mayroon tayong inaasahang sagot na  payak ,buo o kabahagian lamang ng pinag uuspang bilang. Halimbawa, pinag hating dalawang  kilong bigas ay may payak na bilang, o kaya  kung hatiin sa lima ay  mag kakaroon ng  payak at pwakeng  sagot .Isang libong apat-napong kadaming aklat ay mag kakaroon ng buong sagot na apat napu na isang libong uri ng bilang patungkol sa aklat. Ang ganitong klaseng pamamaraan sa traditonal na pag susukat o pag bibilang ay di na kaila sa ating lahat, sa katunayan ay bukas ang kaalamang ito sa lahat ng tao aral man o hindi.

Sa isang punto ay marami pang mga bagay na kinaka kailangan ang pag susukat o pag bibilang na kung gagamitan natin ang nakaugaliang pamamaraan ay baka di natin makuha ang tiyak at tumpak na sagot. Dahil sa ang mga bagay na ating pag uusapan ay literal na di natin nakikita o walang katiyakang  dami ay mawawalang saysay ang payak na bilang. Halimbawa ay ang dami ng buhangin o dami ng bigas bagaman nabibilang ay di ankop sa pag susukat ng bagay. Isa lang itong halimbawa na kailangan natin bumaling sa isang sistema ng pag susukat yan ang kanilang timbang , sa ganitong kaparaanan ay nakukuha lang natin ang kanilang bilang sa proporsyun o kalkulasyun ng  bigat. Isa pang halimbawa  sa pag alam naman sa timbang ay pwede din ibaling sa relasyun ng dami,dahilang mahirap timbangin ang toneldang bato, subalit kung ang isang maliit o malaking piraso ng uri ng bato ay may timbang , sa loob ng isang malaking track kung saan maiimbak ang bato sa luwang  ng lalagyan ay makakalkula natin ang bigat nito.

Sa mga nasambit na pahayag ay ipinapaliwanag lamang  ang pagkakaroon ng bilang o pag susukat
na naiiba sa traditional na pamamaraan. Halimbawa sa isang katanungang iuugnay ang bilang at bilis para makuha ang layo o haba .

Isang  halimbawa ay.
Ang kutsero sakay sa kalesa ay nag papatakbo ng kabayo sa bilis  na apat napong  metro sa isang segundo at  sa bawat segundo na pagtakbo nito. Ang tanong gaano kalayo ang mararating ng kutsero pakalipas ng walong segundo sa naturang bilis na patakbo.

Ipalagay natin   dS/dt = 40t  ; kung saan ang  S(t) ay ang distansya sa metro sa takda ng  dt o pagbabago ng segundo /pahanahon, at ang t sa panahon ng segundo. Kaya ang hahanapin   ay layo makalipas ang 8 segundo..
  S(8)  = (?)metro 

Ang solusyon:
=>    dS/dt
= >   dS/dt = 40t
=>    dS = 40t x dt
=>    dS(t) = Integral { 40t * dt } + C; Integral o kabuohang bilang umpisa sa unang segundo hangang sa 8 o walong segundo
=>    S(t) = ( 40t *t ) /2   + C ; ipinag palagay  nating may sobra o kwake sa distansya 
=>    S(t)   = 20 t^2  + C  ;

Dahil sa ang  pag  pag sukat  ay sa simula  na di pa umaabante ang kalesa
=>   S(0) = 20(0) ^2 + C ;   Ang C ay wala pang kwake
=> S(8) = 20* 8^2 + 0

=>  S(8) = 1280 metro

Isang simple at madaliang solusyon para malaman ito. Ang kabuohang pagbabago gamit ang dalawang bilang o sukat ng bagay(layo man o bilis): una ay ayun sa simula ng pagumpisa at pnagalawa ay ayun sukdulan ng panahon. Maari ding ipagpalagay ang halimbawa na ang 40ft /s ay  may pinag-umpisahan na  o kauumpisa pa lamang. Ang distansya at bilis  sa makatuwid ay matutulad sa ganitong kalkulasyun..
=> (ds/dt + 40/dt)/2  , ay magiging 20 /dt  * 1/t
=>  (20 )8 * 8
=> 1280 metro , 
Ito lamang  ay sa kadahilanang may relasyon ang bilis , distansya at panahon sa iisang  naturing na pag tutulad   para makuha ang patas at parehas(average)  sa na pag-babago sa bilis. 


Isa pang halimabawa gamit ang  pagsusuri sa pag lubo ng papulasyon:

Ang isang papulasyun ay ipinapalagay ang  pag lubo na  may  limang ma-isisilang na sangol sa bawat isang daang dami ng  tao at ito at sa bawat paglilipas ng isang taon. Ang tanong gaano katagal na panahon ang aabutin para ang kasalukyang dami ng papulasyon ay ma-dodoble?

  Ang solusyun:     Ipag palagay na nating na ang  initial o unang dami ng tao ay nag simula sa P0 at isipin na nating sa pag lipas(pag bago)  ng dT  panahon ay ganito na ang bilang o dami  P

Nakakatuwa at nakaka libang ang mga ganitong diskusyon lalo nat magiging karaniwang usapin na  lamang ito sa kanto. Naniniwala ang inyong linkod na kapag dumating ang panahong magiging bukambibig na ito ng karaniwang mamayan ay tiyak ang yayabong ang pag unawa sa anumang mga bagay na pagagamitan nito. IS295B MIS (Information System Project Implementation)

Introductions:

First of all, this is a blog type of documentation, as technical papers will be submitted in the University for the  submission report of this project.This is  all about the design of  web based information system applicable of  gathering variable and discrete data.A data  that is important to represent status of a certain environment. This technology serves an indigenous initiative to support engineers,technician and system administrators for their N.O.C monitoring routine,this is appropriate to my current IT work place-Data Center . Yet, the said information has a general use to monitor and controls mechanical equipment, machines and robots. The final deliverable of the  project is to have an example of information system with prototypes (server,robot and tiny robots) to showcase an effective real-time monitoring and controlling things in a remote environment.

In my own application ,its title is "Information System Design of Data Monitoring System ,with collaborative Tele-Mobile Robots.The project will give a web-based display to monitor different data inside the servers-room such as humidity,light electricity,heat and etc.This is done by different transducers interface to a tiny single board computers.How ever , the project also involves a semi-autonomous group of robots roaming the rooms to boost data gathering in every area,particularly if its not with in the reach of the transducers attach to the stationary servers.

The said study took  almost three 3 semesters to finish the proposal, yet due to the technological design,learning curve,dilemma  and other problem outside its R&D period , it lasted more than three(3) years in the making. I would simply convinced myself that it is not  simply obtaining  diploma ,but  citing an experience that it is not just a walk in the park.

Client & Server MIS Studs(UP Open University)

“It is not a walk in the Park”

For the knowledge  of cyber folks, there is  no difference between  the regular mode of learning compared to what the UPOU cyber schooling programs are all about. Students must posses an initiative or disposition as what they are opt to be in  the traditional class room just to survive their online studies at UPOU. In  every situations, students  don't need to be procrastinate;   rather  be diligent enough in preparing  subject's  assignments throughout   the semester. Otherwise you will be a dead-line hitter as you will get a lot of pressure in  the end. Well, one thing I must not forget in attending   cyber classes, was securing a  powerful PC and fast internet connections to have  an attendance  and  a good interactions  in the virtual class-room.

One thing that I appreciated much of being a UPOU student was molding myself  the true value of self-discipline. Managing times and hectic activities  are very much important  , as they would say “Time is Gold” or else it would  be too late to realize how it feels to be a buzzer beater. Even though our  times were very much occupied, students need to visit and read all the news published in the  UPOU portal, and as much as possible should  interact to some discussions, posting or threads in  the forum. I mean with all these things-patience was a virtue to succeed.

Sometimes , its so interesting how we'd been communicating each other in  the cyber-world, as every meeting was required, people in  the different places and clock were having a unified conference . Not only that, we (UPOU Studs) were web crawlers also,because we used every social networking medium to tap and share web resources. We too were document patchers  and integrators, ie, one member's  task was to do   introduction, other would volunteer to share framework,somebody would be in  charge of the conclusion  , and the finale will be the editing of the entire documents which was assigned to the rest members of the group.Every participation is a must for everybody just to fast track  assignment and deliverable. As it seems gratifying to   upload all the contents of hardships before the portal would close.

As a UPOU student, communication  is not just saying anything about the agenda/topic or discussion  ,but rather a deep comprehensions and writing skills is a “must-have” for every UPOU students. In  order  to meet a common  decorum such as  FMA's, TMA's ,case studies,term papers and etc ,  a conceptualized,analyzed and synthesized answers  are essentials to deduce an assignment completely.

Well, how I wish to meet all my cybermates in  the real world, knowing the fact that they are so busy in  their  different field of endeavours, because of that, just only few of us were able to meet each other personally. My cybermates cooperations  ,dedications and contributions are precious in  surviving a UPOU learning, without the camaraderie and ideas that we've participated and contributed  in  the virtual room-I don't know if it would be easy for me to pass all the subjects alone.

For almost two years of studying at UPOU, I could say that what my teacher once said was true “It is not a walk in  the Park”-he is indeed right after all. Professionally and personally , I am aiming to finish the course as early as possible and badly needing funds for my project design  as well as its implementation. As much as possible I want to share my project applications to the UPOU community  as a legacy of being MIS alumnus -just hoping(praying) that the said dreams would  come true.


“How I wish, things I wanna be”

IS238, Client and Server programming is very much essential subject  included in  the MIS curriculum .The said post  degree poses an  expertise and an  advanced skills about Information  Systems with respect to its major fields and sub fields. These course refers to the study of designing,developing and implementing WEB technologies. Hence, the common  protocol which is technically involved in  developing such programs(RFC”s) are the CS protocol and structures, and the said courses should be the main  forte of all MIS students.
In  our experience, Client & Server programming course requires an  advance programming skills, a simple how-to's of programming is simply not enough to get in to the ladder of the difficulties of learning it. One student should have a wide experience of programming analysis just to understand how CS subject was designed to. In  the said course, Data networking , OS platform,hardware IO's , language programming are the subject matters that must be understood well by the students before they could have a CS application  design .

Another experience for this subject, was the explanation  of CS protocol applied to different programming languages , such as Java ,Perl and C . I also learned some hints related to network programming, and the familiarization  of the different header files which are being included in  C socket programming. One more thing , are the added ideas about C proper declarations of data types, pointers and structure functions which are critical(in  debugging) in  C coding implementations, and I have no choice but to dig out all these stuffs to extend my knowledge. During my previous work, we always used or coded C in  embedded , this is the reason  that helps me (at least) a little bit to understand questions and FMA's given  in  the portal.

How I wish to have an  expertise in  one of the challenging MIS course : System Methodology,Designing Communication  Protocol(RFC!) and be an extreme tweaker and debugger of CS protocols and structures. But one semester will not be sufficient to master everything in  the said course, and so , I need to reinforce again  my time in  the lab, and try to code some topics that were mentioned in  the CS module. And it's my dream -and still wishing (wanna be) well , someday I am able to publish my own  RFC number and that is how voice would be carried quickly in  an  specified medium of spectrum in the cloud.

If given  a chance for additional curriculum, I would suggest an  extension  of IS238,IS215,IS226,IS272 subjects. These could be in  the track of embedded system, data networking and encryption , Web IS, security analysis ,and implementations of "C  & S " structures. Lucky enough to have this subject offered in  the MIS curriculum, because of the the materials that were posted in  the web portal were complete and sufficient  to cope subject preferences, other resources are available in  the vast world wide web. But hey, we hardly  suffered with the difficulty of the subjects; how could you  rush the bulk of less paper works and  assignments,so cut and paste ,debug ,re-code and recompile? The most rationalize methodology (which I'd appreciated) in  the other subjects were by revealing (publishing) our FMA's ahead of time. Thus, we were given  an  ample time to answer the tests and assignments ;hence, our maximum capabilities can  be properly measured and evaluated. For all of us who  are aspiring  a good standing  in  the MIS class -this  is   a sort of blessings to prosper .Honestly, I admire our mentors  for that teaching methodology.

Again , Kudos and More power to all MIS studs out there!

Automated Weather Stations-ASTI DOST





Introductions:

Let us proclaim the good news .
Another dream come true in the country's Science & Technology.The breakthrough is all about our high-end local technological innovations.With almost two years of spending a massive R&D inside the laboratory worked by a young team of engineers and technocrat .Once again another system was introduced with the purpose to aid our scientist in predicting weather or local meteorological prognosis.

The innovation begun in ASTI (Advance Science & Technological Institute) which had been considered as the country's R&D tank when it comes to the actual application of science and technology .The said R&D agencies had a departmental collaborations of designing and developing the AWS ;mainly : the Embedded team , The Communications Development team and the rest of the technical staff of ASTI-DOST and the project proponent -PAGASA DOST.

The AWS is a system design which included major fields of :Micro-controller Embedded system, Communication system (GSM,GPRS and Satellite Link) plus the requirement of the web information system.

The Genius behind Pinoy Jeepney

Introductions:

As I'm living at the UP Campus , I oftentimes took a ride either to UP TOKI or IKOT -these interchanged words are just the two circuits traveled by a passengers jeep that served as their respective routes .University students and staffs used these jeepneys traveling alongside the campuses as their mode of transportation from a remote building(office) going to another , yet as the time passes by ,this ride now injects an iconic symbols to this institution "ride with pride " for once upon a time a humble staff ,a great leaders ,and a noble man indeed had taken a ride in this simple jeepneys .

As we would know, all over places in the country its impossible that we can't spotted these vehicles rooming ,running around the streets , highways , public roads and yeah!even in the hillside of Barrios-there we can see jeepneys on the go.It trekked rough roads ,bumped street ,crawling muddy hills and even to climb a long and winding roads and an off road of an ascending clip just to reach the top of the mountains: I'll bet if you witness a trip to Antipolo, to Baguio or even to Tagaytay. And you can see an umbrella arrangement of passengers atop jeepney cargo compartment-as crowded seating and flamboyant decoration -unbelievable .Perhaps this could be considered and is well known as the most economical ride offered for the benefits of the public (masses). and become a part of our Filipino culture .

History:
So where did we inherit this indigenous jeepneys of ours? Well ,to some that don't know details of the history of this vehicle , they would considered jeepneys just a simple fabricated metal craft in the machine shop, and even wondered if there is"The Genius behind Pinoy Jeepneys" ?

The jeep was launched in the Philippine island by the American soldiers under the AWD (American War Department ) during the second World War.The custom built design that needs for this jeep was to handle punishment at any worst condition to which the vehicle would be subjected.This jeep could give also convenience to soldiers for their mobility and maneuvering counter to securely engage against their enemies in battle fields.It was no wonder that the American also address the design to supersede the design of a German Car/Jeep which was already deployed in the war ahead of time.The Jeep is expected for a combat geared that would be then deployed in the two most dangerous places to be assault by the American Troops in the history: Harbor at the Normandy (D-Day) and to the shore of Leyte -Philippine Pacific. The American War Department sought an automaker who could begin rapid production of a lightweight truck based on a prototype designed by the American Bantam(For those of you -who still don't know- they are the leading producer of mini car of the early 90's) BRC (Bantam Reconnaissance Car) 40. Willys Automaker's chief engineer by the name Delmar "Barney" Roos (an ex-Studebaker) saw a need to improve the firm's 4-cylinder engine of this bantam car( American Bantam) and his objective was brilliantly achieved .It took "Barney Roos"two years to perfect his engine, by a whole complex of revisions that included closer tolerances, tougher alloys.

The share of Productions
Since the World War II was eminent then, The three contracted company to design and produce jeeps(US Military Car),were awarded to the American Bantam which pioneered the light truck and the original design of the body assigned to manufacture Jeep trailers (T-3). Willys the perfect innovator of engine for a real war car and Ford company, which could handle a massive productions of war units began in 1941 of manufacturing Willys MB known as "Jeep" and had 8,598 units were produced that year, and 359,851 units were produced before the end of World War II.

In total, 653,568 military Jeeps were eventually manufactured.

At the of the war (1945), American troops began to leave the Philippines, hundreds of surplus jeeps were sold or given to local Filipinos. The Filipinos stripped down and altered the jeeps to accommodate more passengers, added metal roofs for shade, and decorated the vehicles with vibrant colors and bright chrome hood ornaments.There are several Filipino fabricator that molded the evolution of the jeepneys that we had today to name a few: Sarao,Francisco, Amante and etc.

Trivia:
There are some belief that the word "jeep" orignated in:

1) a phonetic pronunciation of the abbreviation GP, from "General Purpose", that was used as part of the official Army nomenclature.

2) To the first documented use of the word "Jeep" was the name of a character Eugene the Jeep in the Popeye comic strip, known for his supernatural abilities (e.g., walking through walls).

3)It was also the name of a small tractor made by Minneapolis Moline, before WW2.

4)Note:
Willys filed a successful trademark claim for the name, and some times if we would see photos of our grand father there you can see a type of Jeep and they called "Willys yan Jeep ko.."

Bayanihan Linux (Pinoy Linux OS)



Introductions:

The Bayanihan Project began in 2001 as the pioneer initiative towards the creation of an alternative and open source desktop solution by the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI), an attached agency of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) committed to the research on and development of Philippine microelectronics as well as information and communication technologies. Throughout the years, the Bayanihan Team has yielded several products including Bayanihan Desktop, BLTCM, and BL Server.

Since the project's launch, the Bayanihan Team has also conducted trainings and lectures on their products as well as on the Free/Open Source Software (F/OSS) philosophy, basic Linux concepts, F/OSS applications such as OpenOffice.org, among others. Bayanihan has been and will continue to be promoted primarily for use in the education sector, government, and SME's.

The Bayanihan Knowledge Base was created by the Bayanihan Team as part of the effort to disseminate knowledge on Bayanihan software use and development. Inquiries that have been e-mailed or phoned in regarding Bayanihan operation are also part of the topics presented here.

RPG Metanoia

Prelude:

We should be very happy for this 3D film ...This will show the whole world the essence of "Techno-Pinoy" and how Filipinos got the talent; now we are going to show the world that we can do anything. This is another way of using the latest technological tools how pinoy story telling is portray.Pinoy are common artists and animators ;long before in Pixar, Filipinos have been working for Hanna-Barbera cartoons in the 1950s.There were 3D games and films behind which makers are Filipinos-the quality of their work is amazing. It was reportedly that producers of the said animated 3D film spent P100 million in making “RPG: Metanoia,” ;more than anything, else the producers see this film as a chance to showcase Pinoy creativity and that this film will open more doors to the world for Filipino animators.

Some of the technique used in the film which did an impressive job is stereoscoping image.Stereoscopic 3D is when you split an image into two (for the left and right eye) to simulate how the human eye perceives depth.

Here are some of the infos , you would know some details how the project in making the film come true:
RPG: Metanoia is a Filipino computer-animated adventure film produced by Ambient Media, Thaumatrope Animation and ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc. Star Cinema. It is the first full length Philippine animated film presented in 3D.[1] It won 3rd Best Picture, Best Sound Recording and Best Original Theme Song in the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival, Quezon City's Special Citation was also given for being a Gender Sensitive Movie in the said even

RPG took 4 years to make. Thaumatrope Animation has been working on it since 2007. In 2008, a teaser trailer for then "theRPGmovie" was shown at Level Up's Ragnarok Online event at the World Trade Center. In August 2009, Ambientmedia officially partnered with ABS-CBN. In June 2010, it was announced to be an official entry for the 36th Metro Manila Film Festival. In August 2010, RPG: Metanoia's official website was launched. The Cinema Evaluation Board gave the movie a Grade A.[4]

My 2nd Home

This is my  expression and experience  of working  and staying  at the University of the Philippines , a lot of hopes ,challenges ,  visions and wishes.

A Home of nature

A University of knowledge

A freedom to succeed

A legacy of working habitat

A good place to stay and the prestige to live.

I was on boarded at the bus routed to Manila, it was a terrific vacations which missed me up as I was leaving our home. The freshness of an aircon  scent all my cheek , I was setting and  holding down my baggage annex to my seat, then   the light was turn off,yet   a lot of street lights flashed  those views on the road. As the bus trip started so fast , by this time ,I  was setting  comfortably on the alley  .It was not a peak season sometimes, so I have more  seats locations to choose of : the first set ,at the middle  or at the back and etc. Actually I was looking to some passengers  to guess if I knew them so well, they might be  elsewhere inside,perhaps they were my students,my friends or co workers before and could probably greet them.

As the trip continued , my drowsiness against my attentions to the passing by sceneries were both catching my consciousness. Oh, How was my Madoy and Padoy right now,and Ate , not so  surprised, they could missed me too ,to think they had fetch me to the terminal, one mineral water, one chocolate and a hug with blessing .They would have had  realized that man is no longer a boy and the man was getting an old bachelor already (huh!)-think about that. I will always miss my family,well,  there would always be a holiday  spend another vacations.

And at the middle of the journey, with almost five hours lapsed ,at this moment ,  passengers  relaxed for a stop-over in a nearby bus  terminal station .  Someone  had taken their suffer , other took their snacks few had soaked coffee and mine - a choco .I then took a set from an isolated place , but was assuring myself  to peer passenger going and leaving on their post otherwise I'll be left and would missed the journey. And my mind  kept reminiscing : so many thoughts and suppositions as it mirrors my memories....." how if I did not took time by ventures or by chances?"  would it had a chance to some changes , as is or as it would never ever be the same .Yet who knew neither was I?  There would be a lot of expected options: teaching for last public or private universities ,job contract and freelance collocations( programmer, design engineering,entrepreneur ) and etc .Well, aiming to live a life of good opportune,disposition and  luck to enhance  career, possible only if my networked influence be established. I knocked this out not to the woods. Murmuring past ; the class rooms, the students (inspired them through them) ,the extra job contracts the time pressure and  gatherings ,oh yes ! Christmas faculty parties, "where and what place these dudes came and  gone?" and good to hear that the rest buddies preferred to stay though. After all, still the money in my packet ain't sufficient "got no more penny for my "e-hobby",and obliged myself to kill time around the clock as every hour turned everyday because I was galloping the city -everywhere an offer to press keyboards and turn it into cash "you know what I mean!" After sometimes when electrified works ceased -it must have an outlet. The " sunog baga " was then on a rescue , and the brigadier commandos of "parekoy " were going to recruit you with these particular announcements: 1)" Sir luwas na sa lungga mo ta madarayo kita Basket Ball sa RJ village",2)" Sir contribute ka daa b-day ni Xmen" ,3)"Sir , Luwas na ta mabakal kita sugok , ma luto goto sa Clubhouse,madya na" and etc. Although of these different weird dimensions ,I had felt that my being was at a certain ease . Those were built  by channels (works ,freelance ,profession),base (Family) and outlets(friends) -my first home ever.

I was awaken when the bus blown its horn ,it sounds out loud ! ,not knowing that my choco had still a remainder to pour it.So I returned back to my seat  whispering and my mind wandering again.

...pasalubong
"Noy kung mapabakal kang pasalubong ,barato na baga ang badi sa saud" Yes that is Madoy! My mother had always been  reminding  me of one thing, it was a pasalubong. Never ever did  my Madoy forget that -pasalubong , she tought us to share and  care for people whom we (her children) are mingling with everyday, and these are my office mates , friends and circle in the campus. A sort of dried fish,dried vegetables ,"pili nut " and "sari sari", and these were all packed in my baggage ,yet   my mother managed it all. I could still remember funny stories during one of my journey . This story happened  in the bus, my star apple "kaimito" was then packed and kept inside the cellophane . Since I was very tired ,and couldn't avoid sleeping ,as the bus waggle side to side the fruit's bag was ripped out  , so the  star apple fell open, and it seemed a rolling ball on the alley of every passengers'  sets-the fruits rolled back and forth ,over and aover again. I heard somebody  were laughing "Hahaha -kanino to? Akin na lang ito!"  while  other passengers wanted to hold it back , yet  they were looking to an owners ,to whom the "kaimito " should be returned.  Bu I was so unconsious then  no idea of what was happening-it was good to sleep well,huh! "Oh masarap naman pala , bili na lang namin to! ",  and the other guys ate the fruits already . when I was awaken ,upon noticing that only the bag left ,and kept  searching on   my  set's surroundings ,alas, they've  realized I was the owner .I was a little bit shy so to compensate that incident " Ok , pwede man namitan nindo ok lang" and they helped me picked each , and give the passengers a sample taste of my pasablubong. So that day I entered the office , they were asking " Asan na yung kaimito? Sabi mo madami eh heheh" and I'd told them the rest of the story " hahaha kawawa kami,bigay ka na lang namin ng bag sa sunod" . All throughout   the years, as far as I am on my way home for vacations -there is an inevitable promised of "pasalubong".

I could still remember an excerpt from the message of one of the presidentiable candidates of the university ( this was what her thought about...). One of  her sentiments addressed to the long lasting residents of the university,she said that  students , scholars when their years are done ,what  only remain in the campus is  a group of people who maintain a home to the university. They are the vendors along side, janitors, admin, staffs and the faculties who who have stayed for a long long years inside the community. Of course I had never dealt with the students here, since I've engaged more or mingling with the non academic /teaching sectors- a community  where I belong .

And sometimes I am always asking myself, if my times really ended inside this institutions? Actually its a question that pertains not to any reproach of whatever works I was having here but somewhat talking to the contentment in life-professionally.Is this really a destination a terminal a dead end or somewhere to settle?

In fact, I had met an awkward lad and was really surprised when he told me he was just turning 15 years of age and yet we then had an interesting old ages discussion-. No wonder this is the community I am living in ;full of gifted and geniuses and are folks who are good to converse with.There is no questions about intelligence but the big expectations are the outputs.Personally I would prefer solutions of whatever dispositions than to march on the road for a demonstrations for it dignified politics rather than science.Who are the governments anyway?Or we just need a moment to be awaken because our time had been the whistle blower of what kind of democracy we are having today .The leverage to learn from history and the struggle that continued over and over again until now.

I am proud
During hectic hours that I am spending time inside the lab,it could be unhealthy avoiding exercise once or trice a week.I have this program of mine; either jogging , sprinting or walking along the oval circuits or choosing different tracks which are more wider and requires me a lot of stamina and endurance. While I could maneuver my chest up and still feeling ok, its good to have running side to side wih folks all around the oval.You'll meet an old,young las & lad,families ,friends , celebrities and also political figures. Bytheway let me include "Zorro"as an identity well known to all joggers aficionados here in the campus-if you are not familiar to this star/trademark maybe it is your first time to do jogging here. Different faces ,emotions ,excitement and intentions yet they are all having a timely exercise same as what I would be doing.My cardio would determine how long should my routine is being repeated ,if I feel lacks of air and sugar no more-so that ends the race .Before going home, I preferred walking more slowly to refrain and retard pains in my very tired legs and chest and eventually thereafter would go to the canteen o search hobby foods.Vendors are lined into side walks offering , drinks , "puto", "lugaw" and "sopas" and that almost suficed eating breakfast.As leaving along the oval after eating , I realized a little bit of appreciations , just whispering myself underneath the trees covering the entire oval-how (residing in the campus) fortunate we are to leave a healthy life everyday for nowhere we could find a habitat like this located in the urbanized Metro-that makes me proud of.

Sometimes my fellow workers in the Department (I had assigned in 3 departments) would tell us their stories , their long stay in the campus ,their recruitment and their longevity of residence inside the campus.Some of my office mates once told me " Dito na kami lumaki , mga parents namin dito na sila nag trabaho-galing sila Ilo-ilo, halos wala pa kabahay bahay dito" .The other one I heard said " Noon kasi ayaw pa namin mag trabaho dito eh baba ng sahod uno-sinkwenta 1.50 pesos , kaya buti sa labas na lang wag sa campus" and some I heard said " Disi-otso pa lang kami nun nahila na kami mag trabaho dito , taga punch nga cami nun ng card ,Oo computer program yun ;dito pa sa Computer Center ang mga main frame ..pero ok na rin kasi dami raket namin noon -overtime pa nga eh.. , eh ngayun sinkwenta-e sinko na kami , biruin mo yun" yeah... really they are the genuine tenant of this Insititutions-UP Diliman.Actually , in my own opinion its a better gain of knowledge witnessing the history and events by talking those here who had a real experience of what happen in the past time of how this institutions involves in the history of the country. " Naku si Nor Missuari , kapit bahay namin yan dito nga yan nag iistambay eh" , "eh si Marcos nakapulong namin yan eh iho, nag suggest pa nga ako " your excelency Mr. President , tuwa sya , biruin mo yun" and those are thier prides to note they are seemed a part of the history ."Ay oo naku! ala noong pasok yang building na yan ginawang kuta yan ng aktivista eh dami military , barilan sila dun nag takbuhan din kami ala mo na baka madamay , eh kung tamaan rin hehehe-kawawa yung ibang studyante".There a lot of stories the folks are able to share more detail thatn waht was wiritten iin aparticular books .

my prayer
Most of the time I am whispering , wishing that I would face a meaningful venture of life inside the campus.Hope I could last my career to R&D (Research and Development) and able to contribute at any cost with my luck and perseverance,but it seemed I had just only few steps down the road or a track which some ended up with no name was never been heard , or made a full commitment as a workers and had an unsung recognitions or time just covered them anonymously.As I always observing the oblations,I knew its stands and the people behind this monument, they got a lot of choice ,a lot of cries and a more sympathetic event that turns out history-history for everybody in and out the bailiwick scenery which raise up of this oblation- a revelation of intellectual freedom.All might be my desire dream,but a prayer I am contemplative always would be to get me involved and marked the change of its course toward the archipelago enrichment and pacification either by will, by thoughts ,by vision though unheard to every body my prayer is that this monument will give this land a humane know to integrity and dignified freedom .
